Jesus Christ- and We
Christ has no hands but our hands,
to do His work today;
He has no feet but our feet
to lead men in His way;
He has no tongue but our tongues
to tell men how He died,
He has no help but our help
to bring them to His side.
We are the only Bible,
the careless world will read;
We are the sinners' gospel,
we are the scoffers' creed;
We are the Lord's last message,
Written in deed and word-
what if the line is crooked,
what if the type is blurred?
What if our hands are busy,
with other work than His,
What if our feet are walking,
where sin's allurement is?
What if our tongues are speaking,
of things His lips would spurn,
How can we hope to help Him,
Unless from Him we learn?
By Annie Johnson Flint (1862-1932)
There are so many false religions and "churches" that say that "All roads lead to Rome", or "Just follow you heart." If all religions lead to Heaven, how can they possibly all be right? There must be a few that are wrong. And maybe some are better than others. If people reject the idea of there being an antithesis, then everything in this life is relative. If I say that it is fine to pour boiling water on your head then it must be fine. But what if the person who gets burnt thinks otherwise? Who is to say that I am wrong or he is right? Without the Bible, there is no consistent foundation to lay your beliefs on.
"If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? The Lord is in His holy temple,The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates."
-Psalm 11:3-5

The truth is this, according to God's Word, only by believing on His Only Begotten Son can we be saved and have eternal life. The Lord Jesus Christ was formerly an only son, but now He is "the firstborn among many brethren." We who were once living in darkness are now living in HIS Light.
We are being conformed to the image of Christ as his brothers and sisters, and children of God.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
-Romans 8:28-39
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-James 1 :17
The sun, moon and stars are lights in our galaxy. They each have their path in the sky and they change. The moon changes from a new moon to a full moon. The sun rises and sets each day. But our God never changes. He is always steadfast and immovable. What an awesome, loving God we serve!
"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."
-Colossians 2:6-10
I have been reading "The God Who Is There" by Francis Schaeffer. He talks about antithesis in that book. I would highly recommend this book as you seek to reach out to our post-modern culture with the Gospel of Christ.
