Big Sister, Little Sister

This is a nice children's book about two sisters. I enjoyed the illustrations in it as well.

Big Sister and Little Sister

This is my little sister. :-) I am happy to be her big sister and get the opportunity to influence her life for Christ. It is such a big responsibility, as she looks up to me and copies my words, and things I do. I need to make sure my example is worthy of being imitated. It is humbling to think about.  If you have little sisters and brothers, (or friends who are younger Christians) I encourage you to keep following Christ and letting HIM shine through your life and actions. They are watching!

 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
-Romans 12:2

"At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.  Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me."

-Matthew 18:1-5

 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."
-Galatians 5:22

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate."

-Psalm 127:3-5
