Pure Words

"The Words of the Lord are PURE words, Like silver, tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. You shall keep them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this generation forever."

-Psalm 12:6-7

Outside the pottery studio
I read this verse last week and made a list of words that could be used to describe the words of the Lord. Some that came to my mind were these: untarnished, spotless, undefiled, unfailing, perfect, magnificent, shimmering, sparkling, reflective, righteous,  up-lifting, instructive, whole, unhindered, piercing to the quick, wholesome, delightful, convicting, beautiful, awe-inspiring, encouraging, correct, right, unwavering, steadfast, indefatigable, inexhaustible, and true.

My sister and I are taking a pottery class right now. I took a few pictures at our last lesson. It is so much fun to make something from scratch, from the raw clay into a beautiful pot, bowl or vase.

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy
meditate on these        things."

-Philippians 4:8
