I am a Christ Follower. I love being part of a big family. It is so fun to gather around the fireplace and read books together or play an exciting game of UNO. Or play volleyball on the front lawn in the summertime.
I enjoy writing about following the Lord and encouraging others to spend more time in the Word. Photography is another passion of mine. Flowers, babies and toddlers and travel photography are some of my favorite subjects.
I was so blessed to be home-educated. I currently volunteer at a local Bible Club. I am excited and humbled by this opportunity to teach children the gospel from God's Word. My God is so good to me!
I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old, and music is a big part of my life. I play classical, "new age"/relaxing music, the old hymns, a few select CCM songs, and I am learning how to play some jazz music. My dad plays trumpet and I accompany him on the piano sometimes.
After I graduated from high school, I took a special graduation trip to Turkey with my Dad. I really enjoyed seeing the sights in Istanbul and learning a few Turkish words. I have been interested in Turkish culture ever since that trip and I started learning some Turkish in March 2012. I have been blessed to be able to go on two mission trips to China in September 2010 and January 2011. My traveling has made me realize how privileged we are in America and how thankful I should be. Meeting fellow believers in Christ in Turkey and China was so amazing. For me, that is the real highlight of traveling! Getting to know my spiritual family members around the world is so fun, we come from different cultures and speak different languages but we have Christ in common. It is so sweet.
It makes my day when you leave comments. :)
