Jesus Christ - and We

Jesus Christ- and We Christ has no hands but our hands ,   to do His work today; He has no feet but our feet   to lead men in His way; He has no tongue but  our tongues to tell men how He died, He has no help but our help   to bring them to His side. We are the only Bible,  the careless world will read; We are the sinners' gospel,  we are the scoffers' creed; We are the Lord's last message,  Written in deed and word- what if the line is crooked,  what if the type is blurred? What if our hands are busy,  with other work than His, What if our feet are walking,  where sin's allurement is? What if our tongues are speaking, of things His lips would spurn, How can we hope to help Him,  Unless from Him we learn? Happenings in my life...

Hello friends! Here is a little about what has been happening in my life recently....                                                                    (photo by Julia) Our supper table for July 4. Table decorated by my four lovely sisters. Isn't it beautiful?  Go to their blogs to see more:  Julia ,  Anna,  and  Sarah  and Lydia.                      This is one of my favorite classical pieces. A slightly modern version of it.                              "The Four Seasons: Summer" by Guido's Orchestra.                                                     I tried making Creme Brulee this week for the first time. The top is vanilla sugar which I                               caramelized in the oven on broil. I think it turned out pretty well. They were delicious! A stray cat we have befriended. She had 3 kittens and we enjoy watching their antics. :-)  (photo by Sarah)
